The Tezuka Osamu World Shop limited edition of the Game Boy Light was also sometimes called Tezuka Osamu Astro Boy edition. In 1998 it was sold in the Tezuka Osamu shop in Akihabara (Tokyo) for JPY 7500.

Pokemon Center Tokyo Game Boy Light
This edition of the Game Boy Light from the Pokemon Center Tokyo was (as far as I know) limited to 5000 units.

Different sources say again and again that there were only very few Game Boy Light concoles. Even though this is correct the number quoted for the number of consoles sold by Nintendo is often too low. According to UK's NGC Issue #111, October 2005 there were only 1000 Game Boy Light consoles, but there were actually a lot more.
